Everything must GO SALE!

I have a few things that I don't use anymore. You know the "I gotta have it" stuff that is only used once if they are lucky. LOL!  Well, all this came about when my friend April gave me her I-top. (Thank you so much again, April.)  I really wanted one and I asked her if I could use hers.   Well,   she said take it because I don't use it anymore because it's not my style.   OKAY, that got my brain thinking.  I have so much stuff that is not my style anymore. There has to be someone with that style out there that would want it. SO, I would like to find them a new home.  Take a look at what I have and if anything interests you email me: jjolauson @ yahoo dot com.

Take a look and buy with confidence.

Friends Having Fun Pop Culture Challenge

Happy Monday,  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I did even though I had to take care of my hubby because he had laser eye surgery.   I watched the procedure and it was pretty much like SAW.  LOL!  Although, it was gruesome to watch and listen, it was amazing how fast he could see.

Anyways,
Today is FHF's second Pop Culture challenge:  Sex in the City 2
If you need a little help, you can always take the Which Sex and the City Character are you? quiz.  I chose Carrie because she loves shoes like me.

Here is my example:

I think this Anya looks like Carrie with the curly hair
and shopping bags.

Also, FHF has some sad news. Tonya will not be able to participate with the princesses anymore due to other time commitments. That means we have a spot open! You will make one project on the 4th Monday of every month through September. Please send a bio and a link to your blog by June 6th to ericajw612 (at) gmail (dot) com. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We can’t wait to welcome a new member to our group. (Current Friends who only participate in one challenge currently are also allowed to apply)

Happy Friday: TGIF!

Today is the last day of school and  hubby is getting laser eye surgery this weekend so I won't get anything done this weekend.   I had the morning to myself and  I should of done some chores but I played with the new Di's Digi Download that I won at Fab 'n' Funky challenge.  Isn't he the cutest?  I love this little image.   It would be perfect for either a father's day card or birthday card.   I'm not sure on the sentiment yet.  Either way would work.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Some Odd, Fussy, and Fancy Girl

YAY, it's Friday! Today is the last day of school and I made this card for my son's teacher. She put together a wonderful memory book of Justin's  kindergarten experience. It's too cute and I love it.

Anyways,   I combined my two DT challenge for this because they were very similar.  Although,   one was fussier then the other. LOL!  The challenges were:

  • Some Odd Girl: use 3 patterned papers from 3 different manufactures
  • Fussy and Fancy:  use 3 images, 3 pattern papers, and 3 different embellishments

WOW, did I have a hard time.

Here is my example:
This is a new image Floatie Mae.

Some Odd Girl is releasing new images June 1.
Here's a preview:

Happy Friday everyone.   I must say that this week has been crazy.   I am so glad it's over.  Bring on the weekend because I am so ready.   I got inspired to do an Alice card even though I have several DT cards that need to get done and are sitting half done.   Oh well,  this one was for fun and hopefully my mojo will return to finish my DT cards.

    Teacher Appreciation Week Gift

Last week was teacher appreciation week at school. I made two little baskets. The first one I made was for the Fussy and Fancy May basket challenge (HERE). This one is for my daughter's teacher who  loves Hawaii and I thought this Anya stamp was perfect for her. BTW, I won this wonderful stamp and many other things from
Joni @ A sticky Situation.  Thank you Joni.  LOVE YA!

Inside is a tropical smelling candle.

    The tag reads:

Although you are not their mother

You care for them each day.

You cuddle, sing and read to them

And watch them as they play.

You see each new accomplishment

You help them grow and learn.

You understand their language,

You listen with concern.

They come to you for comfort,

And you kiss away their tears.

They proudly show their work to you

    You give the loudest cheers!

No, you are not their mother,

But your role is just as strong.

You nurture them and keep them safe

Though maybe not for long.

You know someday the time may come

When you will have to part.

But you know each child you cared for

Is forever in your heart!

    Challenges:
    Fussy and Fancy: May baskets
    Totally Gurjuss: pink and green
Craft your passion: pink and green
For Fun challenge: anything no digi
