Anniversary Card

This is the card I made my husband for our 13th anniversary.  I really wanted to try a stair stepper card so I had the idea to use a camping theme since we are avid campers (and I never get to use my Under the stars set or Happy Campers set. Actually, I don't use any of my supplies as much as I would like to).  I used buckaroo blue for the background,  real red for the trailer, kraft for the animals, and used chocolate chip, certainly celery, and old olive ink.  BTW,  Jacob loved the card.

California Anya

I am excited about buying my new Anya stamps.  I bought some digital and rubber Anya stamps.  I haven't had much experience with coloring in stamps.  I did learn that I need better ink like Staz-on or Versa-fine and I need copic or prisma markers.  I used SU markers and a blender pen to color her in.     The paper I used is pink pirouette, Bella Rose DSP, and white confetti as the background.  My mom made the flower and the tag is from the big Costco scrap booking kit. Anya is fashioned after the women I see at my local mall.  Tan, blond, and highlights. LOL!

These cards are for SCS TLC 215 challenge.  This is the first challenge I  have done in a long time.  I cut the flowers with my Cricut. (YAH, I used it. I never use it.) I used SU kraft for pot, flowers/leaves I used Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, and Certainly Celery. The printed paper is DCWV.  Ribbons, brads, and buttons are from Michael's. The twine is from SU.
Hello,  I have been neglecting my blog.   (not a good start)   I started reading the House of Night series by P.C. Cast and I couldn't put it down.  I finished five books  of the series and now I have to wait until the next one comes out in November.  (UGH,  I hate waiting.)   I did make a few cards but haven't posted them yet.

Hello, this is my first post on my blog.  I am excited because I did  my first digital card.  I used Abode Indesign to create the layout.  I wasn't planning to do a digital card but my MIL wanted certain things on the card and wanted me to use brown because that was her mother's favorite color.  I started looking through my supplies and I was running low on chocolate chip card stock and I didn't have time to place an order so I decided to design one digitally.  I had it printed at Copy Max.  Can you believe that none of the copy stores print to bleed?   They all leave a quarter of an inch of white  around the card. I didn't want a tiny card.  Our solution was to print it on 11x17 card stock (2 cards on each sheet) and have it cut to two 4.25x5.5 inch cards. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome and would like to do it again.  Hopefully, for a more joyous occasion.
