Simply Betty Tag

Happy Monday everyone!
How was your weekend?
  Mine was great.
I actually got some crafting in and I cleaned my windows.  LOL!
I had to  play with my new Valentine Bo Bunny paper.
It's so cute!
Almost everything else is Stampin Up: sentiment, card stock, ribbon.
The lace I had from a leftover Halloween custom.   It was pink but I bleached it.
My daughter made the little clay skellie for me.
Cute huh?
I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Betty, from Simply Betty Stamps has a daughter named, Rio.
Rio is going to be turning 13 in a few weeks and is far from what you
might think a 13 year old is like these days.
This young lady has requested of her mother to take any monies used for
any birthday gifts/plans/celebrations for her,and to donate them
to the children of St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Doesn't that just tug at your heart? What an awesome kid!!
So, Betty has a special, limited edition Rio Birthday image , that her
daughter has no idea about. Betty is offering this digi image for $3
and will sell it only untilFebruary 8th, Rio's birthday.
All the proceeds from the sale of the image will go to St. Jude's on Rio's behalf.
This is where you come in. Betty would like it if everyone who
purchases this image would be so sweet and kind to Rio and
make her a card with this image and send it to her
by her birthday on the 8th of February.
Betty plans to pack all of the cards and tons of candy into their mailbox,
and then after her b.day dinner they'll walk to the cluster boxes
and let Rio open the mailbox to find an explosion of b.day greetings and cheer.
This kid will die!
She is very appreciative of the little things, so this is gonna blow her mind!
Send all cards and Birthday wishes to:
Rio

Please purchase this image and help make a child's selfless wish come true.

Some Odd Girl Anniversary Week Challenge

Wow, I can't believe that Some Odd Girl is one year old.   Some Odd Girl was one of my first design team position.   I am so thankful for Kristy giving me the opportunity to create with her images.  I love them all but my all time favorite is Mae!  I really wanted to participate in all the challenges but you know life gets in the way.  At least I got to play in a few.     My first card is Friday's challenge: Some Odd Elements (pick 3:  I picked embossing, die cut and ink.)
Friday's Challenge:

Next, I  made a mini card for Saturday's  Mini Card Challenge.
The sketch is from Card Patterns.
I really had fun playing with these images again and I wish Kristy from Some Odd Girl all the success.  Thanks again.

Anyways,
Here's my example for the challenge.

I made this for my daughter's 12 birthday.  WOW, I can't believe she is 12. Time flies by so fast.   Well I better stop before I start to cry. She is into dragons right now.   So, I had to use this wonderful Dustin Pike images.  I love his images and I don't get to use them at all ready but that doesn't stop me from getting the freebie and I'm glad I did because I got to make this beautiful dragon set for my daughter which she totally loved. BTW, we eat all the really cupcakes so I used this towel cupcake I made has Christmas gifts.  I had a few extra for those unexpected gifts.   Luckily, I didn't receive any.
