Somebody Loves Me!

And it's Gabby!   I just got an award from her.  I feel so honored.   She is always an inspiration to me and I hope to be as AWESOME as Gabby someday.  Thank you Gabby, my blogging buddy.

Now I would like to past the love to my fellow blogging buddies.
First, Juanita because I got her into this stamping craze. I bet her DH loves me for it.
Second, Mindy because she always comes up with great projects.
For example:

LOL!   Sorry Mindy, I had to.  Was that too mean?  It was funny though? Right?

Okay joking aside,  April is my third and final choice because her cards are AWESOME!  She puts so much time and detail into her projects and she's a GREAT cook. Mmmm, those mushroom pastries.   BTW, my family loved the brownies. The only complaint was that they were too small. LOL!

I am so happy tomorrow is Friday!
and Happy Halloween everyone!

Twilight Tuesday's One Year Anniversary Blog Hop

Today is Twilight Tuesday's 1 year anniversary.   The theme is  A Year of Twilight.  I am so happy to be involved in the blog hop.   I love Twilight and stamping. It's nice to have a place to do both and share our thoughts and creations.   I have made many wonderful blogging buddies through Twilight Tuesday and I got an eye full of inspiration or was it an eye full of Rob pictures.  LOL!   Anyways,  if you started here go back to Twilight Tuesday's Blog

This is what my daughter made for the hop.  She is very proud of her poster and she wanted me to display her creation.

I must admit I made her a Twilight fan.  Now, she's as much of a Twi-nerd as me. LOL!

Can you believe she colored this? I think she did an amazing job coloring Jacob and Bella's truck.  She is turning into an amazing artist.   I am so proud of her.

Who wants to follow Jennica's wonderful poster? Not me! I guess I don't have a choice. Here are my cards for the hop.   I used TTSC #12 and  TTIC #5:  Which team are you?  for this card.

And last but not least, my lion and lamb card!  When I saw this digi @ Pixie Dust Studio I had to buy it.   Isn't it cute?  It's perfect with the sentiments from Artful Inkables. Sorry for the lighting but I had to get this in before the hop.

I used TTSC #14
Your next stop is Juanita.  TFL, and have fun hopping!

BTW, there will be wonderful blog candy along the way from:

Supplies:

  • SU card stock and DSP
  • Wolf and sentiment from Artful Inkables
  • Edward is The Greetings Farm

Happy Anniversary Halloween card

LMAC of 10 minutes in my scrappin/stampin life is having their third anniversary this Halloween and to celebrate she is giving away blog candy.  Awesome blog candy.  All you have to do is create an anniversary/Halloween card.  I had a hard time with this because I didn't really want to use the traditional Halloween colors.   So I went out of the box and used SU Soft Sky and Orchid Opulence.  Who said, black and orange were the only Halloween colors.   I like the way it turned out.

Tammy a fellow DT for Inktegrity introduced me to a new digi stamp company called Pixie Dust Studio.  Very cute stamps   You need to check it out. Oh, I almost forgot  the sketch is from Mojo Monday.

Supplies:

  • SU card stock and ribbon
  • DSP is Making Memories (I think)
  • scalloped rectangle nestie
  • oval punch
  • Pixie Dust Studio image
  • Sentiment from Artful Inkables Fictionally Inspired
Have a GREAT day and Thanks for Stopping by.
Tomorrow's Friday!

My First Christmas card

Good Morning.   I hope everyone is having a great morning.   For me I don't do mornings.   LOL!   Anyways, I have had this image from the Greetings Farm colored for about a month.  I have been to busy to use it.  I know very sad, huh?  I even knew what paper I wanted to use.

I love this little image. He is perfect for Christmas.   I don't want to think about Christmas but it's coming and soon. My son reminds me daily that we only have two months left.  I don't want to hear it!   He said he only wants two things.   That's it.  A PS3 and a BB gun.   Wow, thats not too much to ask.   YEAH right!   He's going to be 6.  For one PS3's are still expensive even if they did go down and I don't want him to have a BB gun.  My DH said why not?   Uh, he's SIX!  Men, What are you going to do?

Supplies:
  • SU DSP  and card stock
  • ribbon
  • twine from Michael's
  • buttons from my friend at work
  • colored with Prisma markers
  • Sketch is from ICSketch #38
  • Paper play cahllenge: favorite embellie
    TFL!
    Is it Friday yet?

      Halloween Happy Birthday!

This has to be one of my most favorite stamps I bought recently. I love this little cow girl. She reminds me of my daughter also. Jennica was a cow her first Halloween. Wow, that was a while ago. Now she has no idea what to be for Halloween. It was so much easier when she was little. She always wanted to be Minnie Mouse. She still loves Minnie but I think leopard print is her all time favorite now. Anyways, I just realized that I haven't found any stamps that remind me of my son. Maybe because I'm not into Transformers, Star Wars, and Nazi Zombies. Yes he loves Call of Duty and guns. Boys what are you going to do. LOL! This weekend he was counting funny and I said, "That's not how you count. What are you learning in school?" He said, "Stupidity!" OMGosh! What am I going to do with that boy?
Anyways, back to my card. I made this card for the Mojo Monday challenge and several others. I altered it a little but I think you can see the original sketch. I had this cow paper for years. I almost threw it out but I'm glad I didn't because it's perfect for this little cowgirl.

      Blog Candy Winner

      Jane Carroll!
you have won Ricky & her sentiments!! Please send me an email at jjolauson@yahoo.com to claim your prize. Congratulations!!
Make sure to head over to Inktegrity today, all the new images are now available!!

      TTSC #13 and TTIC #50

I finally did a Twilight Tuesday Challenge. I have been neglecting Twilight Tuesday's challenges for a while now. Work and remodeling have been cramping my creative style. LOL!
This card is for Twilight Tuesday's sketch challenge #13 and their challenge #50 Charlie (about a father figure.) I never really had a father figure growing up. Yes, sad I know but that is his lost. I am proud to say that my children have a wonderful dad and I must admit that sometimes I am a little jealous. I wish I had a dad that was like my husband. He is very involved with his children. Sometimes too much where I think I have three children instead of two. LOL!

I created this card with my new C.C. design stamp. I love these little stamps. She reminds me of my daughter with her long ponies. (My daughter use to call her ponytails ponies. Funny HUH?) Anyways, I thought this sentiment was fitting because even though my dad wasn't around I think about him from time to time.

      Supplies:
      • SU card stock, ribbon, sentiment, and DSP
      • Making Memories brads
      • Oval and scallop oval nesties
      • fiskar oval punches
      • Basic Grey bling
      • Prisma color markers
And now for some Eye candy.

What do you think of the new show Vampire Dairies? I must admit that I do like it. Although, I think I like looking at Stephen. He is GREAT eye candy. LOL! I heard a lot of people saying they like the brother better. I think that they don't have HD TV. He has a lot of acne scars. LOL! Darn HD ruins everything. Have a GREAT Thursday and the week is almost done. YEAH!

It was so fun to be on an amazing design team. Thank you Joni for giving me the opportunity to create for your wonderful line of stamps. WOW, too mushy back to my card and the preview. Joni made this image just for me. When I was younger I loved raccoons. Who knows why now? LOL! Anyways can you see that Ricky is reading New Moon. Isn't that the cutest thing you ever seen. I'm Back!

It has been CRAZY at my house lately. So busy with the kitchen remodel and tiling. It's almost finished. We just need carpet. Things are in order and it looks like my house again but better. LOL! Anyways, last Friday was my husband's birthday. He turned 33 years old.
I had to make him this card because it's so fitting. It's his fault though. He told me, I am finally your age but in a couple of months you'll be older. I'm only 9 months older. I told him, I might be older but you look older. Mean huh?!

Hopefully, I'm back. I have three boxes left to unpack and place in the kitchen.

      • SU card stock
      • cuttlebug folder
      • signo pen
      • created sentiment
