Dutch Dare Card Challenge

Happy Monday, I made this card for the Dutch Dare Card Challenge and . The challenge was to make a triangle card but I used a triangle in my card. I guess it's good enough. The image is another Sookie Stackhouse inspired digital stamp made by me. She is called Bathing Sookie. LOL! In the Sookie Stackhouse Series, she likes to lay out in the sun. I thought it would be fitting to create a summer inspired card with her in mind. TFL! Have a great week.

P.S.
I just found out that this card is perfect for the Digital Tuesday Challenge. The theme is Summertime. I love it when I can use one card for several challenges.

Make a Scene @ Dare U 2 Digi Stamp

Hello, today my family and I went to see Transformers. WOW, that was AWESOME! My son stayed awake through the whole movie. Usually, he fall asleep. I was pleasantly surprised to see a New Moon preview. I can't wait to see it. Anyways, I did find some time to create a card for Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge. Challenge #12 is To make a scene. I wanted to use my new space stamp set I won last week and it went perfect with Dustin Pike's free digi background last week. I used SU Basic Black, Going Grey, and Whisper White CS, some brads from Oriental Trading Co, SU Birthday Whimsy stamp, and for the flag pole I used a bamboo skewer. I colored the moon with Prisma pencils and the space boy I colored him with Prisma markers. Overall, I am happy with the outcome. Having a boy card on hand is always needed. TFL!

P.S. I'm so EXCITED! I won the Alice in Wonderland drawing at Club Anya. (We can never have too many Anya's.)

Twilight Tuesday's TTSVC 2

Okay, I said that the last post was my last for the week but I wanted to do TTSVC 3 Challenge. I love Sookie Stackhouse. I just finished the last book but and now I am having serious Sookie withdrawals. LOL! Actually, serious Eric withdrawals. Yikes! Yahoo! Yum! If you haven't read the series then I would start. I loved them! Well, back to my card. In honor of Sookie, I made a digital stamp of her in her work uniform. Since she spends most of her time at work. I used SU Rockabilly DP, Red Riding Hood CS and white CS. The stamps are SU One of a Kind and an alphabet stamp I had. TFL! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a nice Father's Day.

TGF No layers Challenge

I made this card for the Greetings Farm NO Layers Challenge. Today is the last day. I couldn't sleep last night and I came up with the idea of Fairy Anya peeking out of a tree. First I embossed the white card stock with my Cuttlebug (wood grain folder). Second, I sponged the embossed card stock with SU chocolate chip and True Thyme ink. Then I cut out the circle with my nesties. I colored Anya with my Prisma pencils. (I'm liking the pencils.) Last, I embellished the card with my new prima flowers (I got them at Micheal's for $1.99 were $6.99) some pearl bling, and ribbon I have been hoarding. I think it turned out cute. Trying not to do layers, is harder then it looks. TFL!

P.S. This will be my last post for the week. I will be out of town. My family and I are going camping at Lake June, CA. Kids are excited and I will be too once we are there. I hate packing and getting ready. So much work! WASHING, CLEANING, COOKING! YUCK! All my least favorite things to do. LOL!

BTW, Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I appreciate and read everyone. Keep it Coming! LOL!

I WON!

I can't believe I won Digital Tuesday's challenge this week. I got a free digi stamp from My Grafico. Cool HUH?! All I can say is, that it has been a GREAT week for me. I think I should play the LOTTO. Just kidding. I would rather spend the money on stamps and paper. Speaking of paper and stamps, I made this card for Digital Tuesday's Challenge and Inspirational Card Sketch Challenge. I used Dustin Pike's free digital image. I love his style. SO CUTE! Prefect for boys. The card stock is SU chocolate chip, Buckaroo Blue, and Summer Sun. The printed paper is still from my DCVW stack. I will never use the whole thing. UGH! Thanks for Looking and I think I'm getting addicted to challenges. LOL!

Tara Fairy: VC digital stamp

I love combining challenges. I made this card for VC Stamp Challenge and Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge. This is the first time I used a Victoria Case Design and I enjoyed coloring her. I use my Prisma markers and embossed her wings with iridescent embossing powder. (I wish you could see the embossing more in the picture.) The color combo is SU Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, and Summer Sun. The printed paper is from a DCVW stack. I can't get rid of this paper. My friend and I split the pack and we still have a lot. It's the paper stack that never ends!

P.S. This is a free digital image from Victoria Case Designs.

I'm Excited!

Guess what? I have a spot as a guest designer at Double Dutch Challenge Blog. This is a first for me so I'm really excited. Well, I haven't made anything this weekend but I would like to show you a card I made at a stamp class last month. I love the color combo and it was my first time coloring with an aqua pen. I don't know if I like it or not.

Totally Awesome Tote!

This is my version of Inking Idaho's tote. I really had fun making it. I made this tote for Digital Tuesday's challenge of: design a bag or box with a digital image. Well, I used a digital image from The Greeting's Farm and a digital sentiment from digiments. This sentiment is free on their blog. I want to enter the tote in their challenge also. I love having one project for several challenges. (UGH! Now I have to fill it.) TFL!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! Only two days of school left. I have mixed feelings. Yes, I'm happy I don't have to wake up early and make lunch but the kids are home and you know what that means: I have to play referee. Well this card is to celebrate SUMMER! I used Mojo Monday's sketch challenge and I used DCVW paper (from last year's summer paper stack) and SU kraft and so saffron card stock. The brads are from Oriental Trading Co. The image is a Dustin pike digital freebie. TFL! Have a great summer.

P.S. This card is perfect for the Twilight Tuesday Challenge #34 Celebrate Summer! Although, I don't think you will see many vampires at the beach LOL! For sure Bella and Jake.

Anya Bookmark

I made this bookmark for the Double Dutch Challenge. I found this a little challenging because the surface area is so small. I used SU pixie pink, white, and Rockabilly paper. I colored Fairy Anya with my Prisma markers. I used a variety of pink shades. I made it for my daughter and she loves it. TFL!

Monster Truck Card

Wow, I made a boy's card. I used Dustin Pike's digital image for the first time. I like his style. This image was a free download. I used paper and stickers I had on hand. I am using my stash. (YAH!) I made the extra mud spatter by tracing the sticker and inked it with true thyme and chocolate chip ink. I will enter this card for Creative Card Crew's challenge: Child's Play and Digital Tuesday's sketch challenge. TFL!

Black and white Anya

I finally used my prisma pencils for the first time. I think I need some practice using them. I also need to buy some Gamsol. I made this card for Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge and the color scheme is from The Greetings Farm challenge. The card reminds me of Bella and Jacob from Twilight. I used SU Garden whimsy DSP, SU Basic grey, and whisper white card stock. I got to play with my new nesties and I really like them. I am hooked and I want more. TFL!

Baseball Binder Clip

I love making binder clips. They are so fun and easy. I bought little baseball Ian because he reminded me of Edward playing baseball (Yes, another twilight reference). I gave this to my daughter's favorite teacher for teacher appreciation week. She likes baseball. TFL!

Twilight Challenge TTIC 31: Graduation

This is a card I did for an older Twilight Tuesday challenge. I have been reading too much to create. My hobbies are conflicting with each other and somethings gotta give and it's my chores! (LOL!) The image on the card is a personal design. I made the digital stamp on Adobe Illustrator. (Boy, was that a learning experience.) I used all SU card stock and Bella Rose paper. I bought the gems at Michael's and I got the flowers from the Costco kit. The stamp is from SU Congrats!
