Customer and Design Team Twilight Artful INKables blog hop!

Welcome to our Customer and Design Team Twilight Artful INKables blog hop! Make sure you start at the Artful INKables Blog, so you don't miss a single thing!

To celebrate the release of ECLIPSE today, we're highlighting the Artful INKables Twilight inspired sets: Into the Moonlight, Fictionally Inspired and Epic Tales. Artful INKables also has a set of Vampire Romance Themed Charms available!

When I first saw this image, it didn't scream Twilight but then it came to me.   Everyone loves different types of apples.   My FIL eats only Granny Smith apples, I like Fuji or Gala, and of course the Red Delicious is the Twilight apple.   So I related the types of apples to Jacob and Edward.
What do you think?

I used Simply Supernatural from Stampinsanity with the new Some Odd Girl image Gala on the front.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from Fictionally Inspired.

The next stop on the hop is (Dawn Knight

In case you get lost along the way, here’s the order of the hop (I have included the names and blog address for each person, please set the list up to link to all of the people included):

Make sure to leave a comment on each blog along the way for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Artful INKables! Please leave your comments by Midnight, July 4th to be eligible to win!

Friends Having Fun Pop Culture Challenge

Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I watched my children swim at a friends house on Saturday and swim my in laws on Sunday.     Not very eventful for me but at least they were busy and ready for bed in the evening.  LOL!

Today's FHF pop culture challenge is you create an Eclipse themed project.   Is anyone else going to see Eclipse at midnight?   Juanita and I are.   I am really excited because we haven't really done anything since school let out in May.   This will be our girly time. YAY, can't wait.

Here's is my example of the challenge:

The image (Gala) I used  is a sneak peek of Some Odd Girl's new release tomorrow.
Come back tomorrow to see the new line.

Fussy and Fancy Color Challenge!

Happy Friday, Everyone!
Today Fussy and Fancy's challenge is

Make a monochromatic card but the fussy part is

ADD WINGS!

The sponsor for this challenge is The Stamping Boutique! They have kindly donated 5 digi stamps or 3 rubber, the winners choice.

Wow,  this challenge was hard for me.   I had an idea ready in my head and then I had to change the whole card concept to add wings. UGH!  (I guess that's why it's called a challenge.)

Well, here's my example of the challenge.

BTW,  Fussy and fancy will keep the DT call open for one more week, It will close next Friday. Fussy and Fancy will announce our new DT members the following Friday. Please put DT after your name if interested.

Happy Friday!
Have a wonderful weekend!
I also used the Burtonesque Dolls challenge: creepy birthday.

Some Odd Girl Challenge Day!

Today is  Some Odd Girl's new challenge.

It's a fun one.

It's a  Stash Challenge #4 - make it SHIMMER!

For this one, be sure to include some stuff that will add SPARKLE or SHINE! not just the usual rhinestones and pearls, but maybe some kind of heat embossing, or some glimmer mist (or a reasonable facsimile), or even some glitter, stickles or paint... these images lend themselves to LOTS of possibilities for this challenge, so go to it! :)

Here's my example of the challenge:

This image is Mermaid Kaylee. I used glitter on her tail.
She is part of the newly released images.

Aren't they cute?!
You can buy them at Some Odd Girl.

AND, don't forget the Freebie.

What a cute!

CUTE HUH?!

Well, I would like to show you how I alter a digital image.
I used Adobe Indesign but you can use any program that does layers.

First.
Start with the image.
I'm using Sprinkles.

I want Sprinkles to have two eyes.

Second.
 Copy Sprinkles.
Third.
I took the second image and deleted want I didn't want.
 Leaving just the eye.

Fourth.
Move the eye into a second layer and cover winking eye with open eye.

Done.

Finished Project.
