I have been inspired by the new series I have been reading. The titles are: Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, and Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr. I don't want to spoil the books for you but to give you more insight the books are about fairies. They have different courts: Summer, Winter, and etc. I did a Summer fairy since summer is so close and school is almost done for the year. The supplies I used were SU Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie with some DCVW paper I had and haven't use since I bought it a year ago. I also used some flowers I've had about a year. (Seeing a theme. I don't use my stuff.) I will be posting on Creative Card Challenge because this weeks challenge is: use flowers.

Teacher Appreciation Week Gifts
This is what I gave to Jennica's teacher for Teacher's Appreciation week. I like the way it turned out. I love the butterflies. I used SU One of a Kind stamp set, SU Urban Garden paper with SU Baja Breeze paper, and ribbon. Ribbon on the mailbox and rhinstones were bought at Michael's. Mailbox was giving to me and binder clip was bought from Staples. Mrs. Atkin's really enjoyed her gift. I had second thoughts about giving it to her because I wanted to keep it for myself. LOL!

Anya Club couture Contest
This is my entry for Club Anya's club couture contest. I barely made the cut off. I thought it was due tomorrow. I decided I should check to make sure. I'm glad I did because it was due today before 8:59 P.M. (I checked 7:45 P.M.) Anyways, I used SCS sketch challenge for my layout. The stamp I used was Dorothy Anya digital stamp. I altered her dress and added a purse. I decided to use Tempting turquoise because I bought a pack of paper a year or more ago and never even opened it. What better time then now to use it! I paired the turquoise with black and basic gray. I've noticed that I have been using basic grey a lot. (Why, I don't know?, Do I like it or is it that I'm lazy and that is the paper that I have out. LOL!) Oh, Thank you Mindy for your blog entry. I also entered Creative Card Crew's challenge. Two challenges with one card, that's AWESOME!
P.S. I am really liking digital stamps.

Greetings Farm Digital Stamp
P.S. Really having fun using my markers.
My New Toys!
I really wanted copic markers but I couldn't afford it. I got the next best thing Prismacolor Markers and pencils. I found both sets on Craigslist's list. I picked them up on Saturday (in Irvine) and I've been playing with my markers ever since. I think I'm hooked and I haven't even used the pencils yet. My cards will be posted soon.
Twilight Tin
I really wanted to do something Twilight. I looked to see what the challenge was for Twilight Tuesday but I didn't want to do anything Jacob and Bella. I am TEAM EDWARD all the way. So I decided to something neutral. I found the template on Splitcoast and began my tin. I used SU Rockabilly designer paper and I bought the ribbon at Wal-mart. I was so excited to find a Twilight font (I can't remember where I found it. I googled Twilight font.) and I used it for the letter "J". I liked the way it turned out but I think it needs something else. I haven't figured what that something else is yet. So for now it's done. My twilight inspired tin. I also made a matching binder clip. I love making these. They are quick and fun.
