Am I Dreaming, School Started!

Today was my son's first day of kindergarten. He did GREAT. He told my DH and I to leave already. We were in SHOCK. So we left and looked through the window. LOL! Then we went to take my daughter to her class room. She's in 5th grade now. Almost as tall as me(not that tall 5'2"), she wears the same size shoe, and is after my shoes. LOL!

To celebrate back to school, I had to make a card for The Club Anya/TGF Challenge of Back to School. I used TGF's FFF sketch 4 and the color are from The Pink Elephant Challenge: brown, turquoise, and a neutral. The supplies I used are TGF stamp: Wild Sprouts Annika, Memento ink, colored with Prisma markers. The card stock is SU and the DSP is American Crafts. The twine I got from Wal-mart during Christmas. I like it. It reminds me of when I was it high school with my head in the clouds. Always daydreaming.

Ooh, I got some great news. I almost forgot. I got an award today from Joni at Inkgerity. I am excited its my first. She is really an inspiration to me too. I am very happy that I'm on her design team. TFL!!!

  1. Jennifer, your son is soo cute!! That is so funny about asking you & DH to go. My son is starting 5th grade next week and starting last year I was asked to drop him in front and not to walk him in for his first day. That was when I knew my baby was growing up...

Your Annika card is so cute!! Love the colors & sketch. Thanks for playing with us at TPE!!

  2. Oh Jennifer, I am so with you on the Kindergarten thing. My 4th one will be going this year and I am already anxious about it. She is so super ready, I'm not. haha! I love love love your card for TGF and TPE! OMword, it is the most perfect combo ever, it is so dreamy and sweet. Annika is my fave out of the original set. And you are so super deserving of that award! Thank you for being on the DT!!!
