Happy Wednesday, today's challenge at The Wild Flower Patch is spring cleaning. Use your scraps and all your old embellishments and paper to make room for new stuff.
The card I made was all from scraps I had in a zip lock bag.
Well, I thought I would take a little further and spring clean my scraps.
I can't believe how easy it is to find a scrap piece of paper now. The old way I stored my scraps I felt like a was digging for paper treasure. I even have a file folder for digital images. I print extra images so when I'm ready to create all I need to do is look in my folder. I feel super organized. (I hope I can keep it up.)

What a great card and I LOVE your organized scraps. I have mine all in a plastic storage unit that has drawers, each labeled for the colors and stuff...it is much easier.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe! Fantastic card! Wow! I love that image too! But then I love all Jen's images!
ReplyDeleteI store my scraps the same way and I've been able to keep it up for close to 2 years now and I am notorious for not keeping up with stuff! I store them by color families though and the only folder that is out of hand is the white one. I have way too many white scraps--I've had to toss some in the recycle bin so I could actually close my drawer.
Your card is adorable!!! LOVE all of your embellies! And I'm jealous of your files you have going on here for your scraps! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful sparkle! What a super cute card and image! I love a good spring clean of my stash... I chucked loads out today... OH was very pleased lol!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining us at Pollycraft!

Gorgeous card! Love the monochromatic look and lovely details! Thanks for joining us at Sketch Girl!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of 'new stuff' but not so keen on the spring cleaning. Must admit to buying loads of these file things and sorting mine out a few months back though and it has been so much better for crafting.
ReplyDeleteA totally fab card. Thanks for playing along with our Spring theme at The Pink Elephant. Just love your entry.
